About Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi

The three villages

• Dana’s Village: in the heart of the park under the pearl. Amwaj Wave Pool, Cinesplash and the children’s areas Marah Fortress, Yehal and Tot’s Playground.
• Jebel Yas: the mountain in the middle of the park. Jebel Drop, Hamlool’s Humps, Liwa Loop, Dawwama, Sebag, Slither’s Slides, Yadi Yas and Al Raha River.
• Bandit’s Village: more than 20 rides, including Bandit Bomber, Bahamut Rage and the new Matamir slides.

The park’s story follows Dana and the Legend of the Lost Pearl, based on the UAE’s pearl-diving past.

What’s new at Yas Waterworld in 2026

The 2026 expansion added 11 rides and experiences. They include Matamir Drop, which the park calls the UAE’s tallest waterslide, the Sahel Matamir freefall tube racer, Matamir Lights and the Sarab leisure pool.

Your normal ticket covers the new rides. You don’t need to book them. On 7 November 2026, Matamir Drop was closed until further notice.

Rides people come for

• Bandit Bomber: a suspended water coaster. People at Cannon Point below can fire water cannons at the riders.
• Jebel Drop: a steep freefall slide from a platform high on the mountain.
• Bahamut Rage: a 20-person flume ride with a 15-metre drop.
• Al Raha River: a 300-metre lazy river for a slow break.

Food, cabanas and paid extras

The park has snack bars and sit-down restaurants. Dockside Dining is its only indoor restaurant. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except baby food and food needed for medical reasons.

Cabanas for 4 or 6 guests, lockers, towels and Quick Passes cost extra and are not part of your ticket.
